Cardamom sheds 0.94% on subdued demand:-
- Cardamom prices fell by 0.94% to Rs 831.30 per kg in futures trade today as speculators reduced positions amid adequate stocks position in the physical market on account of higher supplies from producing belts.
- At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in December contracts fell by Rs 7.90, or 0.94 per cent, to Rs 831.30 per kg in a business turnover of 230 lots.
- The January contract declined by Rs 6.60, or 0.75 per cent, to Rs 863 per kg in 44 lots.
Mentha oil declines 0.74% on subdued demand:-
- Mentha oil prices fell by 0.74 per cent to Rs 693 per kg in futures market today due to subdued demand from consuming industries in the spot market against higher supplies from producing regions.
- At the Multi Commodity Exchange market, mentha oil for delivery in December declined by Rs 5.20, or 0.74 per cent to Rs 693 per kg in business turnover of 601 lots.
- The November contract traded lower by Rs 4.60, or 0.67 per cent to Rs 678.60 per kg in 400 lots.
