Cardamom falls by 0.7% on subdued demand
- Cardamom prices fell 0.66% to Rs 949 per kg in futures trade today as speculators reduced positions amid adequate stocks in the physical market following higher supplies from producing belts.
- At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in February 2015 fell by Rs 6.40, or 0.66%, to Rs 949 per kg in a business turnover of 45 lots.
- Similarly, the spice for delivery in January shed Rs 5.80, or 0.62%, to Rs 924.10 per kg in 235 lots.
- Cardamom January contract declined 0.91% to Rs. 921 per kg on Friday at the Multi Commodity Exchange.
- Cardamom is Bearish for short term and sideways for intra day. Support for short term is seen at 870 and resistance 980. Intra day support is seen at 910 resistance at 930.
