CARDEMOM RISES BY 1.3% AS SPOT DEMAND PICKS UP


Cardamom prices rose by 1.34% to Rs 816.10 per kg in futures trading today as speculators created positions driven by pickup in demand in the spot market.
Further, restricted arrivals from producing regions supported the uptrend.
At the MCX cardamom for delivery in June rose by Rs 10.80, or 1.34% to Rs 816.10 per kg in business turnover of 505 lots.
Similarly, the spice for delivery in July edged up by Rs 6.60, or 0.83%, to Rs 799.80 per kg in 18 lots.
